ClimbTech Names New Chief Executive

After twenty years of working together to innovate safety, ClimbTech founders Karl Guthrie and Joseph Schwartz have brought on a new Chief Executive, Roberto Fiebig. Fiebig comes to ClimbTech with a strong background in funding and growing small business ventures, along with extensive International Fortune 50 experience.

As a “homegrown” business, ClimbTech has been experiencing surprising growth over the past several years. Yet, a series of successful product launches have represented only a fraction of the innovative concepts that have been developed. The team is ready to revolutionize the world of safety equipment, and has brought on Fiebig to help them realize their potential.

Fiebig’s focus is to establish a strong foundation for growth at ClimbTech, as well as an infusion of growth capital. “I am thrilled to help ClimbTech expand their product portfolio,” explains Fiebig. “In all of my experience working with small businesses, never have I seen so much innovation, just waiting to be introduced to the world.” Fiebig also looks forward to parlaying his international experience into growing the brand on a more global level.

Guthrie and Schwartz feel that Fiebig could not be a better fit for the ClimbTech team – with one exception. “Roberto’s fear of heights isn’t going to cut it in this business,” jokes Schwartz. “We’ll have him climbing soon enough.”
